Tuesday Tales

Retail giant Barney's has cancelled its launch party for it collaborative collection with rapper Jay Z amid allegations that it wrongfully detained two black shoppers on separate occasions. The party, a planned fundraiser for Hova's Shawn Carter Foundation, was scheduled to take place at an off-site location Wednesday, the same day the line was to be made available in-store and on-line. No explanation has been given for the cancellation. Rapper Kanye West now says he feels used by President Obama. The Chicago native says he attempted to befriend the president to no avail. Sometime back President Obama referred to West as a "jackass" after he interupted country star Taylor Swift during an acceptance speach at the MTV Video Music Awards with no public response from West. In other Kanye West news, the video for his single "Bound 2" will be released today. It looks like the beef between rappers 50 Cent and Ja Rule is finally over. Ja Rule recently tweeted that there are no problems between the two. The two even reportedly sat in the same row on a plane. De'Angelo "D-Rock" Holmes will be paying less child support for his daughter reports celebrity site TMZ, Holmes, one half of the rap duo the Ying Yang Twins, has petitioned a judge to have his monthly child support payments lowered to $550 from $2,500 after revealing that he's bringing in a much smaller salary from the $19,000 a month he earned when the support amount was first set. Since the duo hasn't had a hit since 2005's "Wait(The Whisper Song), the Atlanta native's monthly take home pay has dwindled to 42,860 a month, according to court documents he's listed. The group is best known for the hits ""Whistle While You Twerk", and "Salt Shaker", but hasn't released an album since 2009. The group reportedly has a deal with Epic Records signed last year. Holmes will be on a payment plan for the $45,000 he owes in back child support. On the tube: "Dads" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D" on ABC and "The Biggest Loser" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
