Tuesday Tales
This is the week that the top dozen male and female performers perform for viewer votes on Fox's "American Idol" and it's anyone's guest who will be sent packing this week. It's been a mixed bag of steller as well as medicore performances on the show this season. Enough to keep one guessing what will happen next, if anything. Congradulations to singer Keyshia Cole. She gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. Michael Jackson may be gone, but he's still making waves in the music industry. The Jackson estate has reportedly signed a deal with Sony Music Entertainment worth a staggering 250 million dollars over a seven year period. Singer Kelis is returning to the industry after an absence. She has signed with Blackeyed Peas frontman Will Iam's record label. No word on when a project will be released. Check out singer Jill Scott on the cover of the latest issue of Jet magazine. She discusses motherhood, her new film role and her life after divorce. Rumor has it that R&B group 112 may reunite for a cd to be released this year. It will be great if it happens. Everyone's doing their own thing, but it will be ever better to see the group back together again. On dvd: "Twilight Saga: New Moon" and "Ninja Assassin". On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, ""Lost" on ABC and "Biggest Loser: Couples" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
