Wednesday Roundup

Fox's "American Idol" changed it's schedule last night due to a female contestants illness. The top ten males took the stage last night, with mixed results. After viewing the show last night, I have to say it looks like Big Mike may be a contender for the grand prize. Singer Justin Timberlake and actress Cameron Diaz are teaming up for a comedy about a love triangle. Filming of the comedy will start in Los Angeles this month. The manager of actor Burt Reynolds says the actor has been released from a Florida hospital after a planned heart bypass operation. The manager also stated that Reynolds went into the hospital on Monday and was released on Tuesday. He is 74. It's just a few days until the Academy Awards and it's anyone's guest who the big winners will be. The show will be co-hosted by Alex Baldwin and Steve Martin. As reported previously, there are more nominees in the best picture category than in years past. Usher's next cd has been delayed yet again, and in fact, it looks like it may never be released. We'll wait and see what happens with that. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "The New Adventures Of Old Christine" on CBS, "Modern Family" on ABC and "Mercy" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
