Tuesday Tales

Rapper Nicki Minaj has announced that she's set to start her "Pink Friday" tour soon. The MC took to Twitter to make the announcement. The tour should be a hit with fans of the star. Some are none too pleased with rapper Kanye West's choice for art work for his next album. He was reportedly asked to tone down the cover photo so that retailers would be able to carry the disc in their stores. Stay tune for more as this story develops. Usher and Alicia Keys lead the list of Soul Train Award nominess with four nominations a piece. Keys is nominated for Best R&B/Soul Artist Female, Song Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Record Of The Year. Usher is set to compete in the Best R&B/Soul Artist Male, Song Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Best Dance Performance. Drake follows close behind with three nominations. Ne-Yo, Monica, Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, B.o.B, Dondria, Fantasia, Janelle Mone and Sade all earned two nominations. Anita Baker and Ron Isley of the Isley Brothers are set to receive the Legend Award. Among the perfomers on the show will be: Cee-Lo, Erykah Badu, Rick Ross, Janelle Mone, Tamia, Tank and Freddie Jackson. R. Kelly will open the show. The Soul Train Awards will air on November 28 at 9pm on BET and Centric. It was tv show theme on last night's "Dancing With The Stars". Be sure to tune in tonight to see who goes home  The competition is starting to heat up. Actor Tom Cruise is currently filming the next "Mission Impossible". No word on when the film will hit theaters. On dvd: "Apocalypse Now" and "Predators" On the tube: "Glee" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "No Ordinary Family" on ABC and "Biggest Loser" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
