Tuesday Tales

Singer Solange Knowles claims she was discriminated against by the Miami Police Department. The claim stems from an incident where the singer attempted to enter a Miami night spot with a banana balloon. She claims she went across the street to dispose of the balloon, and returned to the club shortly after. A story told by a police spokesperson is that the singer became unruly when told she could not enter the club, and had to be taken aside. Yet another story has another spokesperson claiming the incident never occurred. Stay tuned as this story develops. Meanwhile, singer Kelly Rowland says she knew Beyonce was expecting, but didn't want to make any announcement. Other artists tweeted comments about Beyonce's announcement as well. One from writer/producer/singer Dream stated he was glad the secret has been revealed. First there was R Kelly and Jay Z, now according to Foxy Brown, she and Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige. Brown says the two have been working on music together for a collaboration album, although no other details are available. Hip hop's hottest couple of the moment, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa are working on music together as well. No word on when an album will be released. With buzz over Lil Wayne's Jay Z diss track "I'm Good" threatening to break the internet, rapper Jadakiss took to his Twitter account to explain his appearance on the track. He claims that he was sent the track with no verses and he recorded his verse on the song three months ago. On Jay Z and Kanye West's "H.A.M." Hov seems to take a swipe at Weezy and Cash Money Records CEO Bryan "Baby" Williams, who boasted that Weezy has more money that Jay. Weezy's "I'm Good", which appears on "Tha Carter 4", responds to the jab. The song also features Drake and Jadakiss, which has many speculating that the two took sides in the beef. There's been no comment from Drake. The new cast for the upcoming season of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" has been revealed and it may be the best one yet. Chaz Bono, Nancy Grace, Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian, David Arquette, Ron Artest, Kristin Cavallari, J. R. Martinez, Hope Solo, Elisabetta Canalis, Chynna Phillips and Carson Kreesley will all compete for the grand prize. The show's new season will begin September 19. The ABC series "Bachelor Pad" contains enough drama to outdo any soap opera. Last night's kiss offs are ample proof. Be sure to continue tuning in. On DVD: "Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family" and "Prom". On the tube: "Glee" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "It's Worth What?" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
