Thursday Dish
With rumors of sexting taking place between producer Swizz Beatz and a woman who isn't his wife Alicia Keys, mediatakeout.com now claims they've doubled checked the story and the woman in question is lying. They also say the woman has a mental condition. It's unclear how the website has gotten the information regarding the woman's medical condition. It appears that rapper Kreayshawn isn't letting the recent remarks by Rick Ross get the best of her. She says she's a jokester who's misunderstood. While it's still rumored that J. Cole was dropped from Rock Nation due to an alleged sex tape between he and Rihanna, that isn't stopping his former label from releasing "Mr. Nice Watch", which is a collaboration between he and Jay Z. Despite having to take a trip to the hospital for stitches after a skateboarding accident recently, Lil Wayne hasn't let the accident change his love for the sport. He now travels with a board connected to a Cadillac. Here's hoping the rapper skateboards more safely next time. Landau Eugene Murphy Jr was crowed the winner of "America's Got Talent" last night. The Frank Sinatra sounding jazz singer won $1 million dollars and his own headlining act in Las Vegas. He says he wants his win to be an inspiration to others. His Vegas show begins on Oct. 28. Ames Universal and SRI Entertainment announced that rapper Snoop Dogg will star in a biopic about the life of Fillmore Slim. Fillmore Slim, who was born Clarence Sims, was a renowned blues singer and guitarist and was also a well known pimp. He released several albums in the 1950's and reportedly dated Etta James at one point. In the 60's and 70's he became one of San Francisco's preeminent pimps, earning himself the nicknames "The West Coast Godfather of the Game" and "The Pope of Pimping". He returned to music in the 90's, releasing several and touring frequently. Hawthorne James will direct the film. Pre-production is scheduled to begin in December with shooting to begin in March 2012. Although the release date of his album has been pushed back yet again, that hasn't stopped Young Jeezy from releasing a track list for the album. The rapper tweeted a tracklist for his latest project "TM 103: Hustlerz Ambition". Well, he tweeted a picture of the tracklist handwritten in a notebook. The tweet was accompanied by a message in all caps. The list includes a scratched out song title, "Til The Day I Die", but doesn't indicate any collaborations. Most notably, it doesn't include the two songs which have been released, "Ballin'" with Lil Wayne and "Shake Life". There's still no word on when the album will be released. On the tube: "Bones" on Fox, "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "Community" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
