Actor/comedian Chris Rock appears to be the latest celebrity to have a run in with photographers. Video of the star apparently atttacking a camera at the Sundance Film Festival in January has surfaced. The video shows the photographer asking Rock about his views on the Tea Party before Rock reaches for the camera. The clip was posted with a caption that read, "Ask Chris Rock about the Tea Party, get attacked". So far, there's been no response from Rock or his representatives. Whitney Houston's adopted son is denying rumors that he and the singer's daughter are romanticlly incvolved. He says the two are friends who are grieving the lost of her mother together. Rapper Rick Ross is the latest hip hop star to obtain a shoe deal. He's reportedly signed with tennis shoe company Reebok for an endorsement deal. Rapper Lil Wayne is serious about skateboarding. So serious, in fact, that he says he intends to concentrate his efforts toward being the best ever. Let's hope he doesn't have anymore accidents while he's at it. New York City's Santos Pary came alive with cable network BET bringing it's Music Matters showcase to the venue. The show featured R&B and hip hop artists who engaged the crowd with their latest hits. Headliner and former Bad Boy Records artist Cheri Dennis was a standout performing new material she recorded during her absence from the music scene. The next BET Music Matters showcase will be on April 10 at Santos Party House. Former Bad Boy Records artist Shyne and Sean "Diddy" Combs ended a decade of animosity by reconciling during fashion week in Paris. Fans will recall that the tension between the two stems from the infamous 1999 Club New York shooting where three people were injured and Shyne was arrested for attemped murder, assault and reckless endangerment. Shyne went on to say what the move says for hip hop culture, while his former mentor tweeted about the move, even posting a picture of the two sitting together. It's great to see that the two have put their differences aside. "American Idol' contestant Jermaine Jones has been kicked off the show. Producers have decided to remove him from the Fox television talent show after discovering that he withheld information regarding his criminal background. Jones, who wowed the judges with a rendition of Luther Vandross's "Dance With My Father Again", concealed information regarding two arrests last year, and a current arrest warrant. The arrest reportedly stem from violent altercations. Jones was also exposed for making up a story about being estranged from his father. When Kevin Jones was contacted, he stated that the relationship with his son is fine, and he is not the deadbeat his son made him out to be. Meanwhile, the results show airs tonight, with a live performance from Daughtry. Pit Bull fans will get an opportunity to get a look inside the life and career of the Cuban rapper with cable network VH1's "Behind The Music". On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "NCAA Basketball Tournament" on CBS, "Missing" on ABC and "Community" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
