Wednesday Roundup
Live Nation got it wrong. Singer Rihanna will not take the stage in Baltimore tonight, as promised due to laryngitis. It's unclear whether the next show scheduled to take place in Philadelphia will go on. Fans looking who missed the first Jay Z/ Justin Timberlake show will be happy to know that the two have scheduled another date to take place at Yankee Stadium in June. Tickets go on sale on March 18. Rapper Wiz Khalifia announced that he's inked deal with Converses sneakers. The rapper can always be seen sporting the brand, so the pairing of he and the sneaker giant was inevitable. A lot of slapping occurred on the "Love & Hip Hop Reunion" show. Consequence reportedly slapped Joe Budden and the ruckus continued after that. Four years after singer Michael Jackson's death, the family is still settling the matter of how to care for his children. Nephew TJ Jackson will now receive a hefty $9,000 a month for the children. It looks like rapper Soulja Boy has signed with Young Money Entertainment. He Instagramed photos of Weezy skateboarding and of himself hanging out in Miami. No word on when an album will be released. The woman who claims R&B singer Ne-Yo fathered her child is now suing the star for defamation. She says he defamed her on VH1's "Behind The Music" by depicting her as a whore who's just after money. Ne-Yo hasn't commented on the matter. Rapper Lil Kim isn't done ranting about recent photos of herself. For those who don't know, the Brooklyn rapper went on the attack regarding recent photos of herself saying that the photos were photo shopped. Talk show host Wendy Williams went in on the star by showing old and recent photos of herself and saying that the photos were not photo shopped. Kim responded by posting an angry tweet "Stop hating on me just because you sucked B.I.G.'s d*** and he didn't want nothing to do with you after that". While there's been no word on whether she intends to sue and the photographers in question haven't commented, Kim has let it be known that she's had photos of herself photo shopped and she's not going to put up with it. Stay tuned. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "Survivor: Caramoan: Fans Vs Favorites" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Whitney" on NBC. Happy hump day!
