Monday Madness

"Date Night" topped the weekend box office taking in over 27 million dollars. "Clash Of The Titans", "How To Train Your Dragon", "Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too?" and "Last Song" round out the top five films of the week. Rapper Nicki Minja has reportedly fired her manager. No word on the reason for the decision. The rapper was to have appeared on a tour with singer Rihanna, but backed out to work on  her album. Sad news out of Hollywood. Actress Dixie Carter, best known for her roles on the sitcoms "Different Strokes" and "Designing Women" has died of cancer. She was 70. Ms Carter provided many with laugh filled moments for many that will not be forgotten. She will be missed. May she rest in peace. Be sure to tune in to the season premiere of "Tiny & Toya" on BET tomorrow at 10:oo pm. The season is sure to be filled with surprises for viewers. You can also check out "Lisa Raye: The Real McCoy" no TV One. Finally, with summer fast approaching it will be interesting to see which films do big business at the box office. "Iron Man 2" and a slew of others will be released soon so be on the lookout. On the tube: "House" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "Dancing With The Stars" on ABC and "Chuck" on NBC.
