Monday Memo

"Inception" topped the weekend box office, earning 60 million dollars. "Despicable Me", "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" and "Toy Story 3" round out the top five films of the week. Over 16,000 hopefuls showed up to audition for the tenth season of  Fox's "American Idol" in Nashville TN. The show's ratings have slipped recently, but only time wil tell if producers have finally found what will win back viewers. Country fans should be on the lookout for Easton Corbin. The singer has an easy-going old-school style. The 28-year old Northern rural Florida native recently topped the country charts with his debut single, "A little More Country Than That". Be sure to pick up his debut cd. It's been confirmed that singer/songwriter/producer the Dream and singer Christina Milan have split up after over a year of marriage. The two have a daughter together. Best wishes to both. It's been confirmed that actor Michael Ealy will join the cast of CBS's "The Good Wife". He will play Derrick Bond, the head of a DC firm that will merge with Will and Diane's cash strapped outfit. He will appear in ten episodes of the shows upcoming second season. It's been confirmed that alleged Tiger Woods mistress Rachel Uchitel, Jeremy London, Jason Wahler, Leif Garrett, Janice Dickinson, Frankie Lons, mother of singer Keyshia Cole and Jason Davis will appear on the fourth season of VH1's realilty series "Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew". No date has been set  for the show's premiere, but it will air before the year's end.  On the tube: "Lie To Me" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "The Bachelorette" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC.
