Tuesday Tales
Rapper Lil Wayne's moment in the spotlight will not diminish. The rapper, who is locked away on Riker's Island on gun charges, will release his next project on his birthday, September 27. The project tentitively titled "I'm Not A Human Being", will be a low-profile release and have a bigger roll out around Christmas. R&B singer Ne-Yo and his booking agency are being sued by a Maryland concert promoter over the singer's failure to appear at a 2008 New Years Eve concert in Washington state. The lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial later this month in Anne Arundel County, where his booking agent, Mike Esterman is based. Kenyohn Clark's suit seeks 1 million dollars in damages from the singer and Esterman. Clark claims the botched concert damaged his reputation and that Esterman refused to return a $95,000 deposit. The lawsuit also claims there is no excuse for Ne-Yo not appearing at the Bellevue WA show. Ne-Yo's attorney, John Scaldara says he believes the singer will win the lawsuit. It was announced that actor Ed Norton won't reprise his role as The Hulk in the upcoming "Avengers" film. Marvel president Kevin Feige announed on Saturday that the studio will replace Norton with an actor "who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirity of our other talented cast memebers". The actor took to social networking site Facebook to apologize to fans and thank them for their support. Emmy award winning actress Sela Ward has been tapped to replace Melina Kanakaredes on "C.S.I.: New York" this fall. She will make her first appearance the beginning of season seven of the hit series. On dvd: "The Bounty Hunter" and "Chloe". On the tube: "MLB All-Star Game" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "Losing It With Jillian" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
