Wyclef Jean's bid for president of Hiati appears to be a go. The singer/rapper/producer has proven that he has lived in the country and owns a radio station there. He also pays taxes in the country as well. Stay tuned. Rapper Kanye West will not have to face Death Row Records head Suge Knight in court. A hearing is taking place in connection with a shooting before the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards. Fans will recall Knight sued West after the music mogul was shot at a pre-MTV Awards party the West hosted. . Stay tuned. In other Kanye West news, the rapper/producer has reached out to teen sensation Justin Bieber on Twitter regarding a collaboration. Bieber responded and it looks like the two will record together. Let's wait for the finished product to to be released. Latin singer Ricky Martin is set to release his memoir titled "Me"on November 2. A Spanish version of the book titled "Yo" will be released the same day. Martin has said that preparing to write the book was one of the reasons he decided to reveal that he is gay. Be sure to pick up a copy of the book when hits your local book store. Actor/director Ron Howard has a new film in the works. A comedy tentatively titled "The Dilemma", stars Vince Vaughn who suspects his best friend and business partner's wife is cheating. No word on when the film will hit theaters. Be sure to catch the season finale of "Big Brother 12" when it airs. The show has been full of surprises, and it's anyone's guest who will when the grand prize.
