Wednesday Roundup
Reps for Chris Brown are now saying that the tour with their client and Usher Raymond will not happen. This after the rumor mill reported that the two could possibly do a tour together. At any rate, it's a shame an agreement couldn't be worked out between the two. Singer Brandy is being sued by Scandinavian DJ Mark Mysterio for failing to write "32 Bars Of Music" as promised. In court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this past Friday August 20, the suit claims Brandy accepted a $10,000 check from the DJ back in July, but has yet to record the music. Mysterio says he's consequently lost $25,000. He stressed that he has an international following in markets like Italy, the UK and France. In other Brandy news, rumor has it that she will be one of the contestants on the new season of "Dancing With The Stars" Stay tuned for more developments as they come. VH1's "Behind The Music" featuring singer Fantasia Barrino aired last night and the singer detailed her past and present struggles. Here's hoping that the singer can overcome those struggles and get back to doing what she does best. At long last the Emmy Awards will air this Sunday and it's anyone's guest who will walk away with the coveted statue. As mentioned previously, "Glee" is up for serveral awards along with "The Good Wife" and others. The show airs August 29 on NBC. Fall at the local cineplex is sure to be quite a hot one with "Tron Legacy", "Due Date", "Easy A" and others hitting theaters. Only time will tell which films will be Oscar contenders, however. On the tube: "Masterchef" on Fox, "Big Brother 12" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Minute To Win It" on NBC. Happy hump day!
