Friday Facts
A concert goer was injured during a Young Jeezy show recently. Police stopped the show as Jeezy was about to take the stage when gun fire erupted and a man was hit in the upper torso several times. He's now in critical but stable condition in a local hospital. A judge recently overturned a ruling ordering rapper Plies to pay restitution to several concert goers who were hurt during a shooting in a Gainesville FL nightclub in 2006. The incident occurred between Plias and his entourage and fans when shots rang out and several people were injured. Plies's brother was sentenced to three years in prison in the case, while Plias got probation. While Plies won't have to pay the victims in the case, his brother Ronell Lawrence Levatte is expected to pay victims $40,000 each. The Kim Kardashian/Kanye West rumors continue. Reportedly after seeing each other at the premiere of the film "The Hunger Games", Kardashian was seen leaving West's building wearing the same clothing from the night before. So far, no comment from either, although West has just released a single where he professes his love for the reality star. Stay tuned. Fans of singer Beyonce will be happy to know that she's just joined social networking site Twitter. Fans can find the star at JustBeyonce. Nicki Minja has let it be known she's none to pleased after a recent album signing at FYE. Fans were given wrist bands at the event, but it had to be cut short when pandemonium struck. Minaj seems to think that the event could have been handled better. Hopefully, if any other personal appears are made by the star, that will happen. After indicating that he'd be open to working with his old crew at G-Unit, rapper Young Buck stated during an interview that he's begun negotiations with the label. He says he's ready to return to music, whether as a part of G-Unit or not. It's a matter of determining what's the best situation for him. Buck's last album was 2010's "The Rehab". It's been difficult for the Nashville TN native since being expelled from G-Unit in 2008. He's had financial trouble and recently escaped a drive-by shooting in his hometown. DeAndre was given the boot on Fox's "American Idol". Be sure to tune in next week as the competition continues. The competition continues on "Dancing With The Stars" as well. In theaters this weekend: "Titanic" and "American Reunion". On the tube: "The Finder" on Fox, "Undercover Boss" on CBS, "Shark Tank" on ABC and "Who Do You Think You Are?" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
