Wednesday Roundup
As if the official coroner's report on the death of singer Whitney Houston wasn't sad enough, now it's been confirmed that Houston had cuts and abrasions on her body, and was missing eleven teeth. Meanwhile, daughter Bobbi Kristina has inked a deal for a reality series against the wishes of her family. Reportedly, she was working on the deal before her mothers passing, and now it's official. Jury selection in the trial of the man who murdered singer Jennifer Hudson's family begins today. Hudson's name may appear on the witness list and she is expected to attend the trial. Testimony in the trial of rapper G Dep has begun with the rapper stating that he was under the influence at the time, and the man he's on trial for murdering is not the man he shot. There's been no word on when the trial will continue. Fans of R&B singer Usher can breath a sigh of relief knowing the rumor of his death is not true. The singer was a victim of an internet hoax, and took to his Twitter account to set the record straight. He even tweeted a picture of himself. He's hard at work on his seventh album, "Looking For Myself" and has recorded material with protege Justin Bieber which may appear on the album. Other material may appear on Bieber's album as well. No sophomore jinx for rapper Nicki Minaj. The First Lady of Young Money's second album, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" topped the charts, selling over 251,000 copies in it's first week. It appears there's no stopping Minaj as she continues to create hits. The competition continues on Fox's "American Idol" as the top finalist perform for votes and the grand prize. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "Survivor: One World" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" on NBC. Happy hump day!
