Friday Facts
Sad news out of Hollywood. Actress Yvette Wilson, star of the hit shows "Moesha" and "The Parkers", has died of cervical cancer. Prayers are sent to her family and friends. May she rest in peace. Singer Chris Brown is cooperating with authorities in an investigation into a recent brawl between he and rapper Drake's entourages at a New York City nightclub. According to reports, the two were sitting in the VIP section of the club, when fighting broke out after Brown sent over a peace offering to Drake, a 2,000 bottle of champagne, which Drake rejected. He reportedly also sent over a written message that said "I'm still f****** Rihanna". Bottles and ice were thrown between the two tables, and when Brown attempted to leave, he was confronted by several members of Drake's entourage, who took off their shirts. He was hit in the chin with the bottle, and his model girlfriend, Karrueche Tran suffered a concussion. While Brown's attorney blames Drake for the incident, a representative for the MC stated that he wasn't in the club, and would never get involved in anything that would cause harm to others. Police are currently look for the rapper to interview him. Singer R Kelly is the latest star to get into hot water with Uncle Sam. The singer/songwriter producer reportedly owes the IRS over 4 million dollars in back taxes. He reportedly owes taxes from a few years back. There had been talk of the sale of Kelly's home to cover the debt, but the home was put in foreclosure some time ago. No word on when or how the matter will be resolved. A Twitter beef of sorts has begun between Roscoe Dash and Meek Mill. The two exchanged words on the social networking site regarding Chris Brown. Roscoe Dash reportedly threw the first punch by saying that he'd lost respect for both Drake and Meek Mill due to their rumored fight over Rihanna. Meek Mill, of course, responded with some not so kind words for Dash of his own. Here's hoping the beef doesn't get physical. Singer Usher showed another side of himself to fans during a recent concert by grabbing a guitar to perform a selection from his upcoming album, "Looking For Myself". He got the crowd involved by asking them to sing along, and they obliged. Singer Mary J. Blige is embracing her inner rock goddess. She appears in the musical "Rock Of Ages", which hits theaters this weekend. One can only hope the film does well. Wu Tang Clan member RZA has gotten started a project in time for Father's Day. He'll travel to juvenile halls across the country to conduct a fatherhood workshop for residents. He'll discuss dressing, feeding and other parenting duties. Way to go RZA! In theaters this weekend: "Rock Of Ages" and "That's My Boy". On the tube: "House" on Fox, "Undercover Boss" on CBS, "Countdown To Niagara: The Greatest Megastunts Of All Time" on ABC and "Whitney" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
