Tuesday Tales

More fallout over the Chris Brown-Drake brawl. Yet another club goer is suing saying she suffered a spinal injury during the malee. Her lawyer has suggested that Drake was reckless and negligent in the matter. No word on a court date. Meanwhile, rapper Meek Mill now says the brawl was started by club goers, not Drake or Chris Brown. Fans will remember that Meek Mill and Brown had a Twitter beef going, but the two have now mended fences. Tweets were exchanged between the two indicating they've buried the hatchet.  Could there be trouble in paradise? Rapper Kanye West has booked two shows on July 6 and 7 alone. This means girlfriend Kim Kardashian will be able to attend. Fans will recall Kardashian hasn't able to attend any event that Jay Z and Beyonce attend at the same time because Beyonce doesn't want to be near her. In the meantime,  Jay Z continues to make major moves in the industry. He along with six others will run the new playing facility of the New Jersey Nets. He'll run day to day operations, and work with employees as well. He's also scheduled an headlining performance at the venue on September 28.  Rapper Lil Wayne is speaking out about pulling Nicki Minaj out of New York radio station Hot 97's Summer Jam concert. He says all females deserve the ultimate respect, and when he heard about the Minaj incident, he pulled the plug. He added no one who works with him will be disrespected as long as he's on the planet. Enough said. Comedian Arsenio Hall has announced that he's inked a deal with CBS Television Distribution to host a new late night talk show. While there's no word on when the show will air, it will be nice to see Hall on television again. He hasn't hosted a show since the 1990s. As the summer movie season continues, it will be interesting to see what studios have in store for movies goers. At the moment, several films have made a splash, and only time will tell what's next. In the meantime, the networks are preparing their summer lineups. There are some interesting offerings, however, only time will tell which shows will be a hit and which ones will bite the dust quickly. For those without cable, Bounce TV has added two new shows to it's lineup. A sitcom starring Omar Gooding titled "Family Time" and a stand up comedy show titled "Uptown Comedy", which comic Joe Torry hosts. Both shows are well worth viewing. Actor/comedian Cedric The Entertainer graces the cover of the latest issue of Jet magazine. He serves as guest editor and discusses his career, his new sitcom and what's next for him. The latest issue of Jet magazine is on newsstands now.  Teens everywhere are probably asking for the new Justin Bieber CD, as it hit stores today. On DVD: "Jeff Who Lives At Home", "Project X" "The FP" and "Wanderlust". One tube: "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night" on ABC, "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
