Thursday Dish

Rapper Flava Flav was arrested on assault charges after an argument at his Las Vegas home. The Public Enemy member reportedly got into a fight with his fiance and his fiance's son. He allegedly hit one person and threaten another with a knife. He is currently being held on a $23,000 bond. Authorities want 17-year-old Chicago rapper Chief Keef locked up. This is due to a possible probation violation. The probation violation stems from  a recently released video of the MC firing a rifle at a gun range. Where did the probation violation come from?  An incident where he allegedly pointed a gun at a police officer. He appeared on a track for Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music, but the recording took place at his grandmother's home since he was on house arrest at the time. He was ordered to enter a GED program, but failed to do so. Only time will tell how this will play out, so stay tuned. Rapper /producer RZA says he'd like to be in charge of a Wu Tang Clan reunion. He says he'd like to be the man in charge because the group's most successful efforts were when he was at the helm. So far, no response from the other Wu members. Rapper 50 Cent's next album has been delayed, again. The G-Unit general's next release, which was originally slated for a November release, has now been pushed back indefinitely. 50 says it's due to an audit by his label, Interscope Records. Meanwhile, singer R Kelly says his next installment of "Trapped In The Closet" will not be delayed. He says he and his crew have shot about 20 volumes of the video series and there's more to come. Actor/comedian Mike Epps is set to play the late Richard Pryor in a biopic about the star's life. This after rumors that Eddie Murphy would land the role. Rapper/singer Wyclef Jean says his charity, Yele Haiti, will be vindicated. The organization has been hit with accusations that it misspent funds for self-serving purposes and has shut it's doors, for the time being. The charity has received $16 million in donations for relief efforts in Haiti in 2010. Jean says history will be on his side because the truth will come out.  Rapper Kanye West and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are reportedly looking for a new home together. As mentioned previously, the pair had a not so bad run in with photographers while out on the town in Miami. No word on where the two will set up housekeeping. Actor Denzel Washington has yet another film in the works called "Flight". It appears to be an exciting action/adventure film sure to be worth the price of admission. "Flight" hits theaters on November 2. On the tube: "MLB Baseball Live" on Fox, "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS, "Last Resort" on ABC and "30 Rock" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
