Legal documents state that Thicke's songs "Love And War", "Make U Love Me" and "Million Dollar Baby" serve as examples of tracks similar to Gaye's songs "After The Dance", "I Want You" and "Trouble Man". Although Gaye Jr. claims that Thicke stole from his father more than once, his counterclaim only surrounds "Blurred Lines" and "Love After War". He also hasn't named publisher EMI April or its owner Sony/ATV in the legal filings, like his siblings. Provided that the Gaye family wins the suit, dispersing the money between family members could take some time. Thicke admitted to heing inspired by the songs during an interview earlier this year, but maintains that his hit isn't a carbon copy of the 1971 hit. This isn't the only child support case on the rapper's record. He paid $11,000 for a second child after the mother sued him for $20,900 in back pay. He's currently in a California rehab facility in the mist of a 90-day stay. What's it like to get on rapper Kanye West's bad side? Actors James Franco and Seth Rogan may soon find out. During some down time from shooting their new film "The Interview", the two decided to do a shot for shot parody of West's "Bound 2" video. In the original clip, West and a topless Kim Kardashian simulate sex on a motorbike behind poorly executed graphics. The parody, which features Franco as West and Rogan as Kardashian, shows the two recreating the couple's intimate moments, even kissing in one scene. Rogan tweeted the video to the newly engaged couple, although West hasn't responded publicly. He may not think that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel parodied of West's interviews in which a child played West and it didn't go over well with the Chicago MC. West later launched an all out Twitter war against Kimmel, which boiled over after he made a guest appearance on Kimmel's late night talk show. Hopefully, West will see the humor in the duo's parody. Now, Gaye's children Nona and Frankie have fired back with a counter suit against Thicke claiming that he admitted to stealing "Got To Give It Up" to make "Blurred Lines" , then changed his tune. In court documents, the family cites Billboard and GQ interviews where Thicke noted the 1977 singe as his "favorite of all time", and admitted to wanting to make "something with that groove". Absent from the lawsuit filing was Marvin Gaye ///, who vowed to sue Thicke, but recently suffered kidney failure.
