Friday Facts

Jay Z and Beyonce topped Forbes magazine's list of highest paid couples for the second year in  row.  Jay Z and wife Beyoncé topped Forbes magazine's list of highest paid celebrity couples for the second year in a row. The two earned a combined total of $95 million between June 2012 and June 2013. As musical artists, their most significant income came from touring. Jay Z's Watch The Throne Tour with Kanye West earned $1.4 million per night, while Beyoncé's Mrs. Carter World Tour netted $2 million. By the end of the earnings period, Beyoncé had outpaced her husband by $11 million. Their diverse portfolios added to the tally. Although Jay is reported selling his share of the Barclays Center, it was counted this year, as was Beyoncé's Dereon clothing and fragrance collections. The couple beat NFL star Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundcheon, who came in at No. 2 for the No. 1 spot. Actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie entered the No. 3 spot with a total of $50 million. Earlier this year, according to The International Business Times, the couple was named pop music's first billion dollar couple.  Reality star Khole Kardashian has posted several messages on Instagram that would lead one to believe all is not necessarily well with the star. As most fans may know, rumors regarding husband Lamar Odom's disappearance and drug problem have been swirling for some time. Here's wishing the two the best. The biopic on the late rapper/actor Tupac Shakur is reportedly going to be a big budget production and not an independent film as first thought. No word on who will play the title role or when the film will be released.  Singer John Legend is officially off the market. He and his model girlfriend tied the knot recently. Congratulations to the couple. In theaters this weekend: "Prisoners" and "Battle of the Year". On the tube: "Bones" on Fox, "Undercover Boss" on CBS, "Last Man Standing" on ABC and "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
