Wednesday Roundup

Rapper Meek Mill isn't shy about letting his disdain for rapper Kendrick Lamar be known. At a recent concert he performed "Um Kill Em" without missing a beat. Here's hoping the beef ends soon. There's enough room for both artists to be successful. Fans will be happy to know that rapper Rick Ross will hit the road soon. He'll be heading out on tour to support his upcoming sixth studio album, "Mastermind". There is just one twist. He'll be performing with a live band, according to a statement. The eight city jaunt with the 1500 or Nothin Band begins on Nov. 12 at Detroit's Masonic Temple Theater, and hits Boston, New York City, Mashantucket, Conn and Atlanta before rapping up in his home state with stops in St. Petersburg and Miami. Though no release date for the album has been announced, the first single is the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League produced "No Games" featuring Future, which was released earlier this month. Rapper Game continues to do good deeds. After covering the funeral costs of a 6-year-old girl who was shot in front of her home, the California MC has opened his wallet again to help an Ohio woman whose boyfriend and five children all died tragically in a house fire. He's inspired rapper Drake to contribute as well. The rap stars will donate $10,000 each to help the woman cover funeral cost. She works at a fast food chain. According to TMZ, Game was on the phone with Drake at the time and Drake offered to write a check. Game also inspired rapper Snoop Dog to contribute to the funeral costs of the 6-year-old, whose family he assisted earlier this month. The rapper and fitness guru has pledged $1 million to help those in need. On the tube: "The X Factor" on Fox, "Survivor" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "The Million Second Quiz Live" on NBC. Happy hump day!
