Tuesday Tales

Rapper Kanye West made a semi-surprise appearance on "Jimmy Fallon" on Monday to perform "Bound 2" for the first time live. He was joined by the Roots, Charlie Wilson  and a children's choir as he moved the crowd wearing an open leather skirt apparatus (with the words Earth, Wind & Fire on them) over jeans. At the start of his set, the new father defended girlfriend Kim Kardashian's honor with a response to ex-boyfriend Ray J's "I Hit First" single. The Chicago native, who splits time between both coasts, was in the Big Apple for Fashion Week. West will hit the road for his first solo tour in five years on Oct. 19. Tickets go on sale Friday. Rapper Gucci Mane went on a Twitter rant recently detailing his sexual encounter with rapper Nicki Minaj. He went on to boast about the relationship, which began while Minaj still lived in Atlanta and managed by Gucci Mane's manager Deb Antney. Gucci took things a step further by mentioning his conquest with R&B stars Monica, Keyshia Cole and Fantasia. The revelation regarding Monica drew a response from the singer's ex-boyfriend. It's hard to tell whether or not the rants are the work of a hacker, but nevertheless they have been entertaining. As mentioned previously, rapper Lil Wayne will appear on Katie Coric discussing prison time, drugs and possible retirement. On the tube: "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Shark Tank" on ABC and "The Million Second Quiz Live" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
