The film "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" was the big winner at the weekend box office, earning over $19 million dollars. "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga' Hoole", "The Town", "Easy A" and "You Again" round out the top five films of the week. Singer Aretha Franklin recently released a statement regarding the beating of her adult son Eddie. Ms Franklin wanted to clarify some media reports. She stated that he was released from the hospital after surgery and that his jaw had been wired shut. She also stated that his girlfriend had given the wrong location of the incident at the time. Stay tuned for more as it develops. MC Hammer took to social networking site Twitter to respond to what he assumed was a diss by rapper Jay Z. Jay  Z has reportedly recorded a track where he disses Hammer and refers to him by name. Hammer responded with a video post saying if Hova wanted his attention, he got it. We'll see how this plays out. As the new televison season continues, be sure to check out tonight's "Dancing With The Stars" as the contestants continue their showdown for the disco ball trophy. "Hawaii Five-O" airs tonight as well. The show is one of the biggest hits of the new fall season and shows no signs of slowing down. The fall movie season is in full swing and while it's too early to tell which films will earn an Oscar nod, quite a few look poised to earn a second look by the nominating committee.
