Afeni Shakur, mother of the late Tupac Shakur, is suing production company Entertainment One. The company worked on a Tupac album in 2007 but no royalties have been paid. No word on a settlement as yet. As mentioned previously, singer Rihanna and singer/rapper Teyana Taylor have gotten into a Twitter beef. Taylor now says that Rihanna is a cyber bully. Singer Robin Thicke's hit single "Blurred Lines" has topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop charts for ten weeks and shows no signs of slowing down. Only time will tell. Rapper Coolio has scored a legal victory. An assault charge leveled against him has been thrown out by a Nevada judge after prosecutors were unable to corroborate the victim's story. In April, Anabella Chatman told authorities that Coolio pushed then punched her during an argument over his bringing another woman to their home. She also accused him of hitting her with his car before fleeing the scene. After being arrested for the altercation, Coolio claimed Chatman attacked him telling Rumorfix.com, "I never laid hands on her. She jumped on me and started scratching my face, which caused me to fall to my knees". Since Chatman changed her story, prosecutors weren't able to prove her case beyond a reasonable doubt. Coolio is touring overseas and hasn't responded to the legal victory. Singer K. Michelle can't escape the rumor mill, it seems. First, celebrity web site TMZ reported that the IRS slapped the star with a $52,000 tax lien, claiming she didn't pay her taxes for 2008 and 2009 when she owed $4, 704.63 respectively. Rihanna's fans have of course, gotten in on the beef as well. Taylor quickly responded by saying that the group could bully anyone else but it wouldn't work with her. In the beginning, Rihanna's timeline was out of the direct light. Rihanna refused to mention Taylor until she posted a picture comparing her net worth with the singer's income. Taylor responded with a bit of venomous humor of her own. "90 million dollars & 90 million n*****diving in that s*** box". Taylor tweeted after changing the photo on her Twitter page to feature a photoshopped image of herself in a boxing ring with Rihanna. She used the same photo of Rihanna following her 2009 assault at the hands of Chris Brown. Rapper Kanye West says that rappers are the new rock stars and that he's the biggest star in the world. He added that he's surpassed the level of stardom Michael Jackson reached. Once again hip hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs topped Forbes magazine's cash kings list with an estimated worth of $50 million. Much of this is owed to his Bad Boy Records, Sean John clothing line, Blue Fame marketing agency and a profitable stake in Ciroc Vodka, which he also promotes. He was followed by rapper Jay /Z with $43 million and rapper/producer Dr. Dre with $40 million. Rapper Nicki Minaj was the only female artist to make the list with an estimated worth of $29 million.
