Wednesday Roundup

R&B singer Miguel has been slapped with DUI stemming from  a bust on a Southern California freeway last month. The singer was slapped with two counts of drunk driving, according to celebrity web site TMZ. Although he has yet to address the matter, police say the crooner was cooperative at the time. He was stopped on Aug. 15 for dark tints on his 2013 BMWX6, but authorities suspected he had been drinking. The Grammy award winner's blood alcohol level was .10, slightly above California's legal limit to drive. He was arrested and released on $5,000 bail hours later. His case will go before a judge next week. Police documents detail what was found on rapper 2 Chainz tour bus following a nine hour standoff with police in Oklahoma City that lead to his arrest along with ten other men. According to celebrity web site TMZ, there were two semi-automatic pistols, a 12-gauge pump shot gun, prescription pain killers, grinders with week residue, rolling papers and scales. No charges for the findings have been filed. 2 Chainz was on the America's Most Wanted tour with Lil Wayne and T.I. when his bus was pulled over last month while leaving the Oklahoma City show. Cops cited that the taillights were out and that when they approached the vehicle, they smelled weed. The cops then attempted to search the vehicle, but were locked out and denied entry. They towed the bus to a nearby police yard, with passengers inside, until a search warrant was obtained. All eleven passengers were arrested, 10 for interference with a police investigation, one for suspicion of drug use; all were released on bail not long after. 2 Chainz continued the tour. The wrapped up this past Monday night in California. On the tube: "MasterChef" on Fox, "Big Brother" on CBS, " The Middle" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Happy hump day!
