Monday Memo

The film "Jackass 3D" topped the weekend box office earning a staggering $50 million dollars. "Red", "The Social Network", "Secretarait" and "Life As We Know It" round out the top five films of the week. Although he asked to be sent to rehab instead, rapper T.I. was sentenced to eleven months in jail for a drug arrest in Los Angeles earlier this year. Let's hope this will be the last time the star ever serves prison time. The short film for rapper Kanye West's latest single "Runaway" will make it's network televison premiere and also live stream on BET and BET.com on October 23 at 8:00pm. The film will also premiere on MTV and MTV2 and live stream on MTV.com and VH1.com as well. West has hosted premieres of the film in Paris, Tokyo, Sidney and London, as well as Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. The rapper debuted the single at his show closing performance at the MTV Video Music  Awards and the single reached number 12 on Billboard Hot 100. His next album "My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted  Fantasy" will hit stores on November 22. Prince recently announced plans for a tour beginning in November. Although no dates and locations have been announced, the tour should be a treat for any fan of the music icon. Be sure to tune in to ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" as the remaining contestants lace up their dancing shoes once again for the mirror ball trophy. The competition has made for an intersting and exciting season since the show's return. Actress Jennifer Grey, as menitoned previously, looks to be a top contender for the prize. On the tube: "House" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "Dancing With The Stars" on ABC and "Chuck" on NBC. Happy Monday!
