Rapper Lil Wayne has been ordered to take a DNA test to determine if he's the father of a Missouri woman's 8-year old daughter. He was ordered to take the test while serving time in Rikers Island, but the matter was not resolved then. He must take the test by December 9.  Let's hope the matter is cleared up soon. Legendary singer Dionne Warwick has penned her autobiography titled "My Life As I See It". It details her rise from humble beginnings to international success. It should be an interesting and compelling read for all. Awards season is upon us again and first up is the American Music Awards. The show airs on November 21. A slew of stars are set to perform and it should be an exciting show. Airing on BET and Centric will be the Soul Train Awards. The show will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard. The show will include a vintage Soul Train set, the Soul Train line, the Scramble Board and clips of Soul Train episodes. The show airs on November 28. After a 2 year  hiatus, Nelly is back. The rapper has released a new CD titled "5.0". His latest single is burning up the charts. No word on when or if the St Louis rapper will tour in support of the CD.. Anna Partridge and Kurt Warner were booted off "Dancing With The Stars". The semi-finals are quickly approaching and the competition is heating up. "Detroit 187" has emerged as one of the biggest hits of the fall television season. With it's gritty and compelling story lines and fine cast of regulars, the show is just one of a few gems this season. After 8 months off the air, Conan O'Brien returned with a new show on TBS simply titled "Conan". The show attracted 4.2 million viewers beating out "The Tonight Show" and "Late Night With David Letterman". Actress Taraji P. Henson will bring her talents to the small screen in a original Lifetime movie. The film titled "Taken From Me" is based on the true story of a woman who's son was kidnapped and taken to Korea without anyone knowledge.. No word on when the movie will air. On the tube: "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox, "Survivor: Nicaragua" on CBS. "44th Annual CMA Awards" on ABC and "Undercovers" on NBC. Happy hump day!
