Tuesday Tales

Singer Chris Brown recently tweeted a picture of himself showing off a new hairstyle. He's dyed his hair a platinum blonde. It remains to be seen whether he'll keep the new look. Kanye West may not be pleased to know that his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose and the mother of Wiz Khalifa have taken to referring to one another as mother and daughter on Twitter. Fans will recall rumors spread about Rose and Khalifa being involved. Kanye West later taunted the "Black And Yellow" rapper over social networking site Twitter. So far, there's been no response from Khalifa. In other Wiz Khalifa news, the rapper will perform at BET's Rip The Runway on March 21 at 10:00 pm.  Fans will be happy to know that Dirty Money announced tour dates on BET's "106 & Park". Each show should be an exciting one for all who attend. Just when it appeared that Dr Dre's "Detox" would never see the light of day, a video for his single "I Need A Doctor" has been released. The song features his protege Eminem, and the two performed the song at the Grammys. With the release of the video, it looks like "Detox" will be released soon. It looks the hip hop community will have to make do with one less female rapper. On February 24, the New York State Court of Appeals upheld rapper Remy Ma's conviction, so she'll remain in jail for now. Remy Ma is serving a 8 year sentence at Rikers Island for a Manhattan shooting that left the rapper's then friend injured. A jury found the former Terror Squad femcee guilty of weapons and assault charges after she was charged with the shooting in 2007. The defense appealed the conviction on the grounds that the judge didn't properly inform jurors before they rendered their guilty verdict. The appeal was taken all the way to New York state's highest court, but was rejected. The rapper released her debut album "There's Something About Remy" a few years ago. Actor Charlie Sheen continues to make disparaging remarks during interviews. As mentioned previously, CBS has cancelled "Two And A Half Men", and it remains to be seen if the network will bring the show back. Rumors have the network looking for a replacement for Sheen, but only time will tell if one is found. Warner Bros. will reportedly pay the crew for the seasons remaining episodes. The top 12 male contestants take the stage for viewer votes on Fox's "American Idol" tonight. It will be interesting to see how the remainder of the season progresses from here. There have been some hits and misses, and now American gets to cast its votes.  On DVD: "127 Hours", "Burlesque" and "Love & Other Drugs". On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "No Ordinary Family" on ABC and "Biggest Loser: Couples" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
