Friday Facts
Rapper Rick Ross has cancelled an upcoming appearance in North Carolina due to a newly released video featuring some suspected gang members asking him to stay away. The group is reportedly upset with Ross for using the Star of David on a new mixtape. Don't know just what the problem with using the symbol could be. It looks like actor/comedian Katt Williams won't be retiring after all. The star announced his retirement from standup a few days ago, but has now recanted. He's scheduled to appear in TX and Louisiana, among other states. He needs to make the appearances because it's the only way he'll be able to pay former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight back. Christopher "Notorious Big" Wallace suffered gunshot wounds to his legs, arms, chest and scrotum, according to a never before released autopsy report obtained by TMZ. Wallace was gunned down in Los Angeles after attending a Soul Train Awards after party at the Peterson Automotive Museum in 1997. Ne-Yo fans will get the opportunity to see the crooner in action when he appears as a musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend. Actor/singer Jamie Foxx will host the show. Frank Ocean was named MTV News Man of the Year for the critical acclaimed his long-awaited debut album received. He's also nominated for several Grammy awards as well. The show will air in February and be hosted by LL Cool J. "Love & Hip Hop" fans will be happy to know that the new season will bring with it some new blood. Joining the cast of the hit reality show will be Slaughter House rapper Joe Budden and former G.O.O.D. Music artist Consequence. Previous "Love & Hip Hop" stars have included Jim Jones, Teairra Mari, and Swizz Beatz's ex and baby mother Mashonda Tifrere. Look for Budden and Tahiry to bring much drama to the series as fans familiar with the couple know their turbulent history that played out over the internet over the course of their very public relationship. R&B singer Olivia is still trying to get her love life and career back on track, while manager Yandy Smith is learning how to manager motherhood and her many clients. In theaters this weekend: "Playing For Keeps". On the tube: "Kitchen Nightmares" on Fox, "Undercover Boss" on CBS, "Last Man Standing" on ABC and "Saturday Night Live" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
