Monday Memo

The film "Elysium" topped the weekend box office, earning over $30 million. "We're the Millers", "Planes", "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" and "2 Guns" round out the top five films of the week. Singer Chris Brown is reportedly doing well after suffering a seizure in a recording studio. Brown refused treatment. A representative for the singer blamed exhaustion for the health scare. At any rate, it's comforting to know he's doing better. A potential scuffle between rappers 50 Cent and Trav was avoided thanks to the intervention of rapper Meek Mill. 50 was on hand for the MixShow Live event in Atlanta to promote his new artist Kid, Kid when Trav tried to make his way on stage. Once 50 noticed, he shoved Trav. The incident was caught on tape and shows Meek whispering words to calm 50 down. and the would be scuffle simmers. Meek was quick to take to Twitter to let it be known that he isn't taking sides. He refused to take sides saying that 50 and Trav have their own relationship. Trav, meanwhile, retweeted messages about the incident bringing him publicity and post about his mixtape. 50  has yet to comment. On the tube: "Raising Hope" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock" on ABC, and "American Ninja Warrior" on NBC. Happy Monday!
