Friday Facts

Police have released the 911 tape of the night rapper Nicki Minaj got into a scuffle with her boyfriend. Although the sound on the tape is not very audible, you can clearly hear Minaj asking "why did you hit me". Fans will recall Minaj took to social networking site Twitter to deny the allegation that she had been struck by the gentleman she had the argument with.  No charges were pressed during the incident. Fans of Jay Z and Kanye West are not happy with the ticket prices of their "Watch The Throne" tour. Tickets reportedly run from $80 in the nosebleed section, to $1,500 in the front row.  Rapper Rick Ross will now be able to add restaurant owner to his resume. The Miami MC will open a chain of Wing Stop stores soon. The first will open in Memphis TN. Singer/songwriter/producer Ryan Leslie prepared for the upcoming release of his third studio album with a show at SOBs in New York. He performed numbers from the upcoming album titled "Les Is More", as the crowd sang along. He also brought Red Cafe out for one number. The singer is scheduled to perform on the Lollapalooza tour along with Nas, Cee Lo Green and Eminem. Singer Keyshia Cole announced via Twitter that she will replace former manager Mannie Halley with industry veteran Kevin Liles. Liles played a important role in the success of Def Jam Records, and also helped to make Trey Songz a star. Cole's last album, 'Calling All Hearts", was plagued by poor sales. After a bidding war between labels, Sean "Diddy"Combs has signed Cleveland rap star Machine Gun Kelly to a two album deal with his Bad Boy Entertainment imprint. Combs says the rapper is one of the best live performers he has seen in a while and won't change for the label. His debut album, "Lace Up", will hit stores in early 2012. Darren Franich was the latest contestant to be evicted from the "Big Brother" house. Be sure to tune in next week to catch more of the drama as it unfolds. Catilynn couldn't parlay her passion for dance into votes, and was sent home on last night's "So You Think You Can Dance". The competition on "America's Got Talent" continues next week as well. In theaters this weekend: "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and "The Change-up". On the tube: "Bones" on Fox, "Flashpoint" on CBS, "Shark Tank" on ABC and "Friends With Benefits" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
