Tuesday Tales

The recent rumors of Jay Z and Kanye West feuding with one another while on their "Watch The Throne" tour are false, according to Jay Z. Rumors persist that Kanye West wants to spend an absorbent amount of money on the tour, but Jay Z says it isn't true. Hova says  it's he who wants to spend huge sums of money, and that the two do quibble, but that helps make each of them better. Hova went on to mention those who would like a tour exclusive, saying that the two worked hard on their project "Watch The Throne" and should be able to release it the way they want. Singer Rihanna will appear on the September cover of Glamour magazine. In the article the singer laments about being considered a role model for young people by saying that entertainers can't be rock stars anymore because they are considered role models. Meanwhile, pictures of the star partying have surfaced on the internet. Congratulations to singer Beyonce are in order. Her latest album, "4", as just gone platinum. So much for the theory of executives at her label that the album would not do well. Rapper Lil Kim has signed with Universal Music Group. The signing took place with no fanfare and no official annoucement. The rappers name does appear on the company's roster. This will be the first deal that Kim has inked since leaving Atlantic Records in 2008. She recorded four albums for the label, including her classic debut "Hardcore" on the label. There's been no announcement regarding a album release date. Lady Gaga confirmed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that her next single will be the piano driven ""You & I". The pop star recently shot the video for the song in Nebraska. She also performed "You & I" and "Edge Of Glory" on "So You Think You Can Dance", where she was also a guest judge. Although fans are still enjoying his mixtape "Sorry For The Wait", rapper Lil Wayne released a single "Put A Light On Me". The song was leaked to the web on Monday and is pulled from DJ Spinatik's mixtape "Street Runnaz 60". Meanwhile, the rapper will take the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards, which will air on August 28. He is nominated for Best Hip Hop Video. "The Carter 4" is slated to hit store shelves on August 29. "The Bachelorette" continued this week with more dates and more drama, as fans have come to expect from the ABC hit. TV One's "Ultimate Merger" will begin a new season on Thursday. Eleven hopefuls will come face to face with Toccara, and it's anyone's guest what will happen. On DVD: "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "Soul Surfer". On the tube: "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "It's Worth What?". Happy Tuesday!
