Tuesday Tales

While occasionally brawls and even shootings occur at hip hop shows, you don't typically expect them to occur at an R&B show. A shooting occurred outside a Witcha KS nightclub after a performance by former Pretty Ricky member Pleasure P. Fans spilled outside the club where a gunman opened fired. Several people were injured. There are no other details regarding the matter at this time. Oprah Winfrey's interview with Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina attracted over 3.7 million viewers for the OWN network on Sunday. It also earned a 1.7 rating as well. This, no doubt, gives the struggling network a huge boost. The rumored love triangle between singer Chris Brown, his current girlfriend, and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna has gotten nastier. According to website TMZ, Karrueche Tran refuses to leave her home without Brown's security team with her after Rihanna's fans began posting threatening messages to her. Some time back a feud between the ladies began on Twitter with Rihanna reportedly posting a picture of ricecakes wearing a pair of sunglasses with a caption that seems to diss Tran. Brown has told his current flame not to worry about his renewed friendship with his ex. In other Rihanna news, it seems her pastor may want to have a counseling session with the star. He recently made clear in a statement after seeing photos of the singer scantily clad that he believes she shouldn't dress in such a manner being that she's a role model for young girls. Ironically, the singer stated in a magazine interview that she doesn't want to be a role model.  Bad Boy Records CEO Sean "Diddy" Combs has revealed that he intends to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the late Notorious B.I.G.'s "Life After Death" by releasing a digitally remaster version of the CD. The only problem is, the Bad Boy staff claim the CD is not on the release schedule. Hopefully, something will be worked out soon. After having one of the most spirited rap beefs in recent memory, the paths of rap rivals 50 Cent and Rick Ross will cross this summer. The two will grace the stage at the Open Air Frauenfeld festival in Switzerland along with other top hip hop acts including Nas, J. Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, Tinie Tempah and A$AP Rocky. The concert will take place July 6-8, 2012. Khole Kardashian confirmed that sister Kim and rapper Kanye West would have become a couple were it not for West's busy schedule. Fans of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" will recall that the Chicago MC made a guest appearance on the show, and Khloe says the two would make a perfect couple. Wonder what happened? In other Kardashian news, Kim is none too pleased with "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm. The actor made a statement regarding Kardashian and other reality television stars and referred to Kardashian as a "f*****g idiot". Kardashian, of course, took to her Twitter page to fire back at Hamm saying she believes calling someone who writes, designs and produces a successful show stupid is careless. So far, no response from Hamm. It looks like the third time may be the charm for actress Halle Berry. She and her current beau have gotten engaged. Congratulations. On DVD: "The Descendants", "The Adventures Of Tintin", "Young Adult" and "Happy Feet Two". On the tube: "Raising Hope" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Last Man Standing" on ABC and "The Biggest Loser" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
