Tuesday Tales

What's going on at the Jackson home? The authorities were called to the family home after someone filed a battery report against someone else in the home. In addition, a family friend now claims that Katherine Jackson is being emotionally and financially manipulated by family members. Web site TMZ posted a picture of Janet and Jermaine Jackson having what appeared to be an argument. She interrupted a vacation with her current beau to check on the family. Meanwhile, both the singer's daughter Paris and brother Jermaine Jackson have posted tweets making their feelings known regarding what's happening with the family.   Stay tuned. Mariah Carey has been confirmed as the next "American Idol" judge. Carey will receive close to $18 million dollars for the gig, making her the highest paid judge on reality television. Fans eagerly awaiting the arrival of the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album "Cruel Summer" will have to wait a little longer. The album, which was initially due out on August 7, has now been pushed back to September. No explanation has been given for the switch. At any rate, the project will certainly be worth the wait. A$AP Rocky is now defending himself against charges he robbed two photographers whom he got into a scuffle with on July 19 in New York. The up-and-coming rapper from Harlem entered a not guilty plea in response to charges of second degree battery. Police said the two men had tried to abscond with unknown items from the photographers after getting into a fight with them. This isn't the first time A$AP Rocky and his crew have gotten into trouble for fighting. A$AP Mob and Sony Music have been named in a lawsuit filed by a SXSW stage manager who says he was pummeled by the rowdy rappers at the festival last year. Although he's been sentenced to 14 years for felony gun possession and witness tampering, rapper B.G. isn't fazed in the least. During a recent interview, the New Orleans native stated he's relieved to learn his fate. He plead guilty to his crime in 2009. Fans shouldn't fret, however. The "Bling Bling" rapper, who has been active on the mixtape scene recently, says fans can expect new music to be released while he's away. "America's Got Talent" continues its competition tonight. Tune in. On DVD: "Forever Marilyn: The Blu-ray Collection". On the tube: "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
