Thursday Dish
It looks like the family of late R&B singer Aaliyah is not behind a planned new album after all. A single with Drake, "Enough Said", has been released, and hasn't been very well received. Drake stated that the family, as well as Aaliyah's management and record label are all behind the project. The family, meanwhile, has issued a statement saying there is no album in the works. Producer Timberland, who worked with the singer during her lifetime, stated no album would be done without he and Missy Elliott. Everyone is aware of the rumor that Kris Jenner, mother of the Kardashians, encouraged Kim to make the sex tape with Ray J. Now, it's rumored that she bank rolled the sale of the tape. So far, no comment from Ms Kardashian. Actress Stacy Dash took to Global Grind to thank fans for their support after her recent health scare. The star was rushed to the hospital and treated for dehydration. Glad to hear she's doing better. The war of words between K Michelle and Toya Carter is heating up. K Michelle went on record as saying that she was abused by Toya's now husband. Toya then went on the defense by asking for proof, while K Michelle has made it abundantly clear that it's her story and Toya should keep quiet. Only time will tell where this will go from here, so stay tuned. There's a producers beef of sorts going between Bangladesh and Swizz Beatz. Bangladesh threw the first punch by saying that the only thing that makes Swizz Beatz relevant is Alicia Keys. He went on to add that he has a 15-year-old son who helps him keep on top of current trends. During an interview with ThisIs50.com, Swizz referred to his accomplishments as proof of his relevance. Meanwhile, Bangladesh took to Twitter to defuse any beef by saying his interview wasn't about Swizz Beatz. Swizz Beatz is looking to keep the vibes positive, so it looks like this so called beef isn't going any further. On the tube: "Raising Hope" on Fox, "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and Summer Olympics" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
