Tuesday Tales

First it was announced that rapper Jay Z will executive produce the soundtrack to the film "The Great Gatsby", now it's been announced that wife Beyonce will contribute a track to the film as well. Should be hot. NBA legend Magic Johnson's son has gone public with his relationship. He posted a picture of himself and his current flame. He's made no comments on the matter. Singer Chris Brown continued promoting his latest single by stopping by Power 19=05.1's "The Breakfast Club". Among other things, he discussed Justin Bieber's headline-grabbing behavior. Bieber has been photographed smoking marijuana, threatening a photographer and recently had his pet monkey detained overseas for lack of proper paperwork. Brown stated that he can understand being young, having limitless amounts of income and at the same time not having anyone say no. He added that blaming rapper Lil Twist for being a negative influence isn't fair. The mainstream media always targets the Black boys, he said. He also discussed his relationship with Rihanna, ex-girlfriend Karraueche Tran and staying away from Twitter outburst. As for Tran, Brown says she was there for him during his lowest moments and he can't just blow her off. Elsewhere on his promotional push Brown also stopped by Shade 45's "Sway In The Morning", setting the record straight regarding his Drake diss on Young Jeezy's single "R.I.P.". On he record, Brown question's Drake sexuality. Brown doesn't plan to get a response. Brown said that no one can take him seriously so he can say whatever he wants. Drake apparently agrees since he hasn't mentioned the lyrical jab. In the meantime, Drake just made a huge career move. He's joined performing rights giant ASCAP. He joins Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams and others who are also members. In addition, he's preparing the release of his third studio album, "Nothing Was The Same". He recently went home to Toronto to shoot the video for the projects second single, 5 Am In Toronto". On DVD: "Best Of Warner Bros.
