Thursday Dish
Two more contestants were given the boot on last night's "American Idol" and it appears the focus will shift from the contestants to guest stars; good and bad. The ninth season is really turning out some surprises no one expected. Singer Beyonce's collobration with Lady Gaga, "Video Phone", which has become a huge hit, has also become a huge video hit as well. It was confirmed that the video is the most played on cable outlets. The two also collobrated on "Telephone" for Lady Gaga's release, and the video for the single has been getting mixed reviews, to say the least. We'll see what happens with that. If you haven't already, be sure to pick up the dvd concert film, "T.A.M.I Show". It features performances by James Brown, The Surpremes, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones and others durning rock's 1964 glory period. Fans are in for a treat, as the film has been ditigally remastered. Young fans will get a history lesson. Actress Lisa Raye will soon have a reality series on VH1 called "Lisa Raye: The Real McCoy. Fans will get a glimpse of the actress's life since her divorce. On the tube: "Bones" on Fox, "NCAA Basketball Tournament" on CBS, "Flash Forward" on ABC and "Community" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
