With his debut cd still riding the charts, rapper Drake is reportedly at work on his next project. No word on the name or release date for the disk at press time. Add Lil Wayne to the list of rappers who owe money to Uncle Sam. According to the Detroit News, the IRS recently filed a 1.13 million lien against Wayne, according to Florida court records. Wayne owes taxes for 2004, 2005 and 2007. The lien marks the second time the New Orleans rapper faced tax trouble. The IRS filed a lien against Wayne two years prior. Wayne paid if off in August 2008. In other related news, Wayne will be released from prison in November. West coast rap legend Too Short was arrested in Idaho for battery. According to police reports, the rapper kicked, punched and pushed employees at the Knitting Factory nightclub after he was told he could not bring underage girls backstage into his dressing room. Although none of the employees were hurt, Too Short and an associate were taken into custody and released after posting bail. The two are due in court August 4. The release date of singer Kelly Rowland's next album has been pushed back from September to fall. No reason has been given for the change. Auditions for the tenth season of Fox's "American Idol" were held today, with thousands of hopefuls lining up to for an opportunity to appear on the hit show. See who makes the cut when the show premieres this fall. The summer movie season rolls along with the filming of "Green Lantern". No release date for the film has been announced at press time. In theaters this weekend: "Inception" and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". On the tube: "House" on Fox, "48 Hours Mystery" on CBS, "Wife Swap" on ABC and "The Jensen Project" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
