Thursday Dish

Singer Erykah Badu has made it clear that she's none too pleased with a video director's decision to release a video featuring her sister and the rock bank Flaming Red Lips. Reportedly, the video is quite explicit, and Badu was promised some editing would be done. The director has released the video without the editing promised. Badu indicated she's not pleased with the outcome. The director released a statement issuing an apology, while taking credit for the video. We'll have to wait and see where things go from here. The John Travolta saga continues. Travolta's former secretary now claims the actor had a relationship with his former pilot, until the gentleman became displeased with the fact that Travolta had gained weight and had a body odor. Russell Simmons is now speaking out about the rumors that ex Kimora Lee and her husband Djimon Honsou are splitting by saying he's never approved of their lifestyle, and never paid alimony. Rapper Lil Wayne recently had an accident while skateboarding. Fans shouldn't fear. He should be fine and be able to get back to doing what he does best soon. After blasting the queen of daytime talk Oprah Winfrey by saying she doesn't like rap, rapper 50 Cent will sit down for an interview with the media mogul, which will air later this week. Michael Jackson's daughter Paris will also appear on the same show. Bobbi Kristina Brown will not be prosecuted for underage gambling. As mentioned previously, web site TMZ released video of the teen playing the slot machines at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. The case was dropped due to inefficient evidence. Bobbi Kristina is 19, and the legal gambling age in Vegas is 21. Meanwhile, the trailer for the film "Sparkle", which her mother Whitney  Houston was working on before her death, has been unveiled and should do respectable business at the box office. The film also stars former "American Idol" contestant  Jordin Sparks, who plays Houston's daughter in the film. The film is a remake of the 1976 classic blackpoitation film starring Irene Cara and Philip Michael Thomas. "Sparkle" hits theaters in August. Fans also have the sequel to "The Expendables" to look forward to as well. The films brings Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger together again in a film that's sure to be as action packed as the first one. "The Expendables" hits theaters this summer. "Duets" continues tonight as show mainstays and contestants perform together. Another round of competition has ended on "America's Got Talent". Tune in next week to see who makes the final cut. On the tube: "Take Me Out" on Fox, "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS, "Duets" on ABC and "The Office" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
