Wednesday Roundup
Singer Bobby Brown has been arrested for DUI. He was pulled over by police in Los Angeles when they smelled alcohol. Brown failed a field sobriety test, and was taken into custody. This makes Brown's second arrest in less than a year. Here's hoping he gets his life back on track soon. Meanwhile, he and late ex-wife Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina's new reality series "The Houstons: On Our Own" premieres on Lifetime. A man claiming to be Chris Brown is suing Rihanna. The man is suing, claiming among other things, she gave him herpes, which came from her homeland Barbados. He's asking for $10 million dollars and a restraining order against his fellow pop star. Is rapper Lil Wayne engaged? The rumors are swirling again after his new lady love was spotted wearing a huge rock. No word on a wedding date. In other Lil Wayne news, the rapper's new album, which has been delayed several times, looks like it will be released in December. Despite some beef between Pusha T of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music, the album will include appearances by West and others. It should be another hit for the New Orleans rapper. Actress Stacy Dash is done. The former "Single Ladies" star, who has come under fire for voicing her support for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, recently posted a picture of her poling area with a caption underneath. In the meantime, others stars have voiced their opinion regarding Dash's choice. Actress Vivica A. Fox said she was unaware that Dash was a Republican, and that she doesn't understand why she would post a picture of herself in a red bathing suit with a flag behind her when she doesn't have a job. Kimora Lee Simmons said she thinks Dash is just trying to get attention since no one knows who she is. Will.i.am has remixed the theme song for "Entertainment Tonight". He's also refreshed the show's logo. Great news! President Obama will take part in a Q &A session to be broadcast on MTV live from the White House on Friday at 5pm. Voters will get an opportunity to have their questions answered in time for the November election. On the tube: "2012 World Series Live" on Fox, "Survivor: Philippines" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Animal Practice" on NBC. Happy hump day!
