Lee DeWyze was voted the winner on "American Idol' last night. It was an exciting night filled with performances from Alice Cooper, Chris Allen, Janet Jackson, Christina Agullera, Hall & Oates, Chicago and Michael McDonald, among others. Former "Idol" judge Paula Abdul also appeared and although she didn't perform, she did say a few kind words to departing judge Simon Cowell. Paula Abdul has a new dance show in the works as well. No word on when the show will air. Rapper 50 Cent has lost 54 pounds in preparation for his role as a football star battling cancer in the film "Things Fall Apart". No word on when the film will hit theaters. In other 50 news, the G Unit general is teaming up with VH1 to film a documentary tracing his roots called "50's Roots". He will trace his roots on camera with the help of an aunt, Gladys Simpkins. No word on when the documentary will air. Stay tuned. Singer Rihanna has filed a counter suit against her former personal trainer, Cindy Percival. Pericval filed suit against the Def Jam star claiming that she failed to pay fees and expenses totaling a whopping $26,144. Rihanna has countersuied claiming that she fronted the trainer the large cash amount for her services. But when the two servered ties late last year, Rihanna says Percival never returned the cash. No comment from the singer's camp regarding the counter suit. On the tube: "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "FlashForward" on ABC and "Community" on NBC.
