Tuesday Tales

Web site mediatakeout.com has reported that Mary J. Blige has severed ties with her manager/husband Kendu Isaacs as her manager. Adding fuel to the fire of the rumor mill, the fact that Blige has been spotted at red carpet events without Isaacs and her wedding band. None of the rumors have been confirmed by Blige or anyone in the singer's camp. Just when the rumor mill had former "American Idol" contestant Pia Toscana signing with Interscope Records, sources say the rumor isn't true. They say she cannot sign any deal until all of her "American Idol" commitments have been taken care of.  Apparently a war of words has begun between mogul Donald Trump and actor/comedian Bill Cosby. It started when during an interview on the "Today Show" Cosby stated Trump should either run for president or shut up. Trump, of course, has fired back, and only time will tell how long the war of words will continue. Hip hop legend Kool G Rap is preparing for the release of his eighth studio album "Riches, Royalty and Respect", which will hit stores on April 19. The album will reunite him with producer Marly Marl. He says of modern hip hop artists today, he's really into Rick Ross. Cee-Lo will record a new version of his hit "Forget You". It's a part of Duracell Battery's campaign to donate batteries to firefighters. The song will be called "Thank You". The original song has sold over 3 million copies and has been covered by the cast of the hit Fox show "Glee". No word on when the new version will be released. The new reality series "Toya: A Family Affair" will premiere tonight. "Braxton Family Values" starring singer Toni Braxton will premiere tonight as well. You can also catch "Lisa Raye: The Real McCoy" on TV One. Writer/director/producter/actor Tyler Perry will bring his Medea character back to the big screen in "Medea"s Big Happy Family".  The film will hit theaters on April 22. On DVD: "Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows Pt 1" and "Country Song". On the tube: "Glee" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution" on ABC and "Biggest Loser: Couples" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
