Wednesday Roundup

Here's one for the dumb criminal files. Someone got rapper 50 Cent's American Express card, and purchased a flat screen television. The problem with that was, the store became suspicious after the purchase was made when it was requested that the television be delivered. The customer was asked to pick the item up. No suspects have been arrested as of yet. Rapper Lil Wayne is currently filming concerts on his "I Am Music Tour". He says the inspiration came from Jay Z 's film "Backstage" and Russell Simmons' 1995 film "The Show". No word on when the film will hit theaters. A judge has ruled that footage of Michael Jackson's concert film "This Is It" can be used as evidence to prove the late singer was excited about touring, and not contemplating suicide, as Dr Conrad Murray's defense team suggest. The trial will begin on Wednesday. R. Kelly has announced that he will hit the road for a two month tour to begin the first week of June. Venues and dates have not yet been announced. G-Unit member Lloyd Banks is currently riding the charts with a new single "I Don't Deserve You". He collaborated on the single with Jeremih. Dru Hill member Nokio is heading to court for a custody hearing with New York City radio personality Angie Martinez. A lot of allegations have been thrown around, and it remains to be seen who things will pan out. Stay tuned. Pia Nemcova was voted off "Dancing With The Stars" last night. Country star Toby Keith entertained the crowd during last night's show. Tune in next week as the competition continues. The top seven will take the stage on "American Idol" tonight. It's songs of the 21st Century night, and it will be interesting to see how well each contestants does. The latest installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise will hit theaters on April 29. It stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris. It should be yet another thrill a minute for fans of the previous films. Mariah Carey will reportedly join Simon Cowell on his talent show "X Factor". She will not be a judge, but act as a mentor to contestants. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "Survivor: Redemption Island" on CBS, "The Middle"on ABC and "Minute To Win It" on NBC. Happy hump day!
