The female companion who was with Sean Kingston when he crashed his jetski says she begged him to slow down before the accident, but he didn't. Kingston is still in critical but stable condition and will spend at least six weeks in the hospital. Nelly is apparently ready to make a comeback after being off the radar for some time. He and his former booking agent recently got into a Twitter feud with the booking agent saying Nelly is resuming his career because he's broke. Nelly fired back saying the agent cheated him. Stay tuned as this story develops. After spending quite a bit of time firing insults at former mentor Jay Z, rapper Beenie Segal now says he's ready to squash the beef. He says Jay Z gave him an opportunity. Singer Rihanna is still going strong with her latest album "Loud". To that end, the singer will premiere the video for her latest single "Man Down" on "106 & Park". The video, directed by Anthony Mandler, was shot in Jamaica and has a more serious tone that her previous videos. The singers last few videos were seductive, leaving her open to criticism. Former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland is the latest R & B singer to benefit from the misfortune of Cheryl Cole. It's been announced that the singer, who's burning up the charts with the single "Motivation", will join the cast of the UK version of the hit show "X Factor", taking the spot intended for Cole. As mentioned previously, former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger was announced as the new judge on the American version of the show on Thursday May 26. Producers reportedly dropped Cole from the judging panel fearing that her accent was too thick for American audiences to easily understand. The plan was for her to return to the UK version of the show, but she reportedly hasn't returned any of the producers phone calls. Rowland meanwhile, will release her third solo album "Here I Am" later this year. Not to be left out of the reality singing competition craze, producer Jermaine Dupri will be joining the judges panel on Bravo TV's "Platinum Hit". The show is focused on finding the next great songwriter, pitting other would be scribes against each other in various writing challenges. The winning songwriter will receive a publishing deal with Sony/ATV and a recording contract with RCA/Jive. "Platinum Hit" airs on Bravo at 10 p.m eastern.
