Wednesday Roundup

Singer Chris Brown recently got into a Twitter feud with the members of Odd Future. It all began when Brown tweeted a comment about lead singer Frank Ocean, which was taken out of context. Brown and the other members of the crew went at each other for what seemed like moments. For the time being, things appear to be over. Only time will tell. Teen sensation Justin Bieber and mentor Usher performed at Bieber's manager's recent birthday party. The two did a duet of "Yeah!". The party was an affair to remember for all who attended. The NBC show "The Voice" has really gotten off to an impressive start. Only time will tell who will be the winner, however. Things don't seem to be getting any easier for rapper Ja Rule. The recently incarcirated rapper, along with his business partner and CEO of Murder Inc Irv Gotti, have filed a lawsuit alleging that he has been defrauded out of thousands of dollars by a mysterious publishing company. Rich Kid Music claims to own licensing rights to Rule's multiplatinum 2001 album "Pain Is Love", according to the lawsuit. The company and its own Rondo Robinson then illegally collected $57,000 in royalties, money that belonged to Murder Inc. Both Rule and Gotti claim they have never heard of Rich Kid Music. Ja Rule is currently serving a two-and-a-half year prison sentence stemming from a 2007 incident where he was found in illegal possession of a hand gun. Fans of the duo Gnarls Barkely haven't heard from the duo since their 2008 sophomore album "The Odd Couple". In years since, the band members have worked on solo projects. In a recent interview with Us magazine, Cee-Lo Green stated there is a new Gnarls Barkley album in the works. He also stated that although he hopes to push the envelope, fans can expect the signature Gnarls Barkely sound. They have several collaborations completed, although there is no title and release date for the album. In the meantime, Cee Lo Green is currently on tour in support of Rihanna's "Loud" tour. Andre 3000 recently showered singer Beyonce with praise during a interview. The rapper, who makes a guest appearnce on the single "Party", from Beyonce's upcoming album "4", stated he believes she is one of the best performers of our time and it was an honor to work with her. Singer Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, who produced the single "Best Thing I Ever Had", echoed the same sentiments. "4" will hit store shelves on June 28.  On the tube: "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox, "Undercover Boss" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "The Voice" on NBC. Happy hump day!
