Tuesday Tales

Rapper Ja Rule, who is currently serving a two year sentence on a gun possession charge, will now have to serve two more years for tax invasion. The rapper admitted that he has not paid taxes on his earnings from 2004 to 2006. He may server both sentences concurrently, and serve just two years. That doesn't mean he will be let off the hook completely. He will have to pay $1.1 million dollars in back taxes. More details have come to light regarding the Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony split. A dancer who appeared in the singer's video for "I'm Into You" has denied rumors that he and Lopez are involved. Ironically, he split from his wife after the video was completed. Matthew Knowles, father of singer Beyonce, has inked a recording deal with cable channel BET to record albums from winners of the hit show "Sunday Best's" first four seasons. He will also record a best of compilation from the show as well. Cable news network Fox has taken NBCs "Today Show" to task for inviting singer Chris Brown on its show to perform. In response, Brown took to his Twitter account to voice his opinion on the matter saying the show was concerned with talent and not a nearly three year old incident. He added he walks with his head held high and his middle finger even higher. It sounds like he's not too concerned with what anyone thinks. Rapper Foxy Brown stated in an interview that she would never moon anyone. Charges she mooned a neighbor were dropped recently because the neighbor refused to testify in court. Gucci Mane is out of prison, for now at least, and the  first thing he did was head to the recording studio. In a recent interview, the Atlanta rapper stated he went into the recording studio and got five records done. Another thing that has some talking is the tattoo of a ice cream cone on his face. He says he doesn't think it's a big deal and it didn't take a long time to consider. He plans to release a collaboration album with labelmate Waka Flaka Flame under the moniker the Ferrari Boyz. Fans of the hit show "Single Ladies" will be happy to know that the show has been picked up for a second season. "America's Got Talent" continues as the contestants square off against one another for the grand prize. While only time will tell who the winner will be, it's been an exciting season thus far. On DVD: "Limitless" and "Take Me Home Tonight". On the tube: "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "It's Worth What?" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
