Friday Facts
Are there wedding bells ringing for Chris Brown and his new girlfriend? Rumors started surfacing after the woman was seen sporting a new diamond ring. The ring was a two caret diamond Brown bought for his lady love. Meanwhile, rumors continue regarding ex-girlfriend Rihanna's love life as well. Some say she was seen with a new beau, although it hasn't been confirmed. At any rate, let's hope she's happy. She can be seen in the film "Battleship", and is sure to snag more acting roles. As mentioned previously, the John Travolta case moves on. It's been reported that the men only known as John Doe 1 and John Doe 2 have dropped their suit against the actor, but have also recently hired high profile attorney Gloria Alred to represent them both. No word on a settlement as yet. Singer Bobby Brown debuted his new single recently, and by all accounts it has some assuming he's referring to his late ex-wife Whitney Houston in the song. He plans to release his first album in some time next month, and the song will be included on the album. Some are questioning whether Kim Kardashian is using Kanye West, or if Kanye West is using Kim Kardashian. The reason being, Kardashian has said that she'll never put her love life out again after what happened between she and soon to be ex-husband Kris Humphries. However, West can be seen in the tailors for the upcoming season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians". Go figure. Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige graces the cover of the latest issue of Essence magazine. She also serves as guest editor of the iconic magazine. She added that settling the lawsuit and jump-starting her career as an independent artist has been challenging. She added she was set to sign with Cash Money Records, even becoming close friends with Bryan "Birdman" Williams. The music the two made never went anywhere. Meanwhile, Minaj was signed, and according to Kim, stealing her vocal style, even being nasty to her whenever the two crossed paths. She also discussed her falling out with the members of Junior M.A.F.I.A. She said she wouldn't consider reuniting with the group, due to their involvement in her incarceration for conspiracy and perjury. Kim's currently working on a book about her prison time titled "The Price Of Loyalty". No word on when it will hit book stores.
