Friday Facts

It looks like rapper Camron's feud with Jay Z has hurt him in more ways than one. Reportedly, DJ's at Hova's 40/40 Club have been instructed to not play any of Camron's or Dipset's records. Camron stated that the decision is fine with him. The real problem is, the group hasn't released any new material in some time. Actor Craig Robinson, known for his roles on "The Office" and "Hot Tub Machine", almost took on the role of Bahamian prison inmate. While boarding a plane from the Bahamas to the United States where he'd performed, he was arrested for drug possession. Local authorities found half a gram of marijuana and 18 ecstasy pills on him. He was immediately taken into custody and appeared before the magistrate where he plead guilty to two counts of drug possession. Robinson reportedly told the judge that he brought the drug with him from the United States and that he was unaware that it was illegal in the Bahamas. In any other case, the accused would face up to four years in prison. Robinson was only charged a $1,0000 fine and ordered to vacate the country as soon as he left the courthouse. Robinson hasn't commented publicly on the matter. Rapper Kanye West's recent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" earned the late night talk show it's highest ratings in history. The two gentlemen burring the hatchet between them worked in more ways than one. Singer Robin Thicke will sit down with media mogul Oprah Winfrey for an interview on Sunday. He'll discuss the infamous VMA performance with Miley Cyrus, his marriage to actress Paula Patton and a photo of him and an unknown woman which shows him with his hand firmly planted on the woman's backside during the interview. "Oprah's Next Chapter" airs on Sunday at 9:00 p.m. Robin Thicke, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis all snagged American Music Award nominations, will.i.am and Kelly Clarkson announced on "Good Morning America" yesterday. Seattle rap duo Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis lead with six nominations, followed by Justin Timberlake with five nods in the Favorite Male Soul/R&B category, which pits him against Thicke and Miguel. Thicke's "Blurred Lines" earned him three nods to edge out Rihanna's two. While Justin Bieber didn't win any nominations this time, teen stars will take the stage at this year's ceremony. Miley Cyrus is slated to perform along with will.i.am. The 41st Annual American Music Awards air live Sunday Nov. 24 from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. In theaters this weekend: "Captain Phillips" and "Machete Kills". On the tube: "MasterChef" on Fox, "Undercover Boss" on CBS, "Last Man Standing" on ABC and "The Michael J. Fox Show" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
