Thursday Dish

Fans hoping for a "Basketball Wives" reunion will be disappointed. Cast member Evelyn Lozada has said she will not come back because she doesn't want to discuss ex-husband Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson. The two divorced after an argument that ended with Johnson head butting Lozada. It appears no other cast member has anything going on worth mentioning. The late Michael Jackson topped the list of top deceased income earners with a net worth of $600 million. Between 1985-1995 Jackson earned between $50 and $100 million from touring, record sells, endorsements and merchandise. To date, he has sold over 750 million albums, 35 million were sold in the year following his death. R&B star Usher came in at No. 2 with a net worth of $50 million. As most may know now, rapper Kanye West and reality star Kim Kardashian are officially engaged. Many friends and family were present for the proposal, except step dad Bruce Jenner. Although Kris and Bruce Jenner have separated, no official reason for his absence has been given. Meanwhile, NBA star Lamar Odom told celebrity web site TMZ that he wasn't present for the event because he had other commitments. In more Kanye West news, during an interview with San Francisco's Hot Wild 94.9 radio station, the rapper defended his decision to have an actor portray Jesus during the opening of his Yeezus tour. West  told the station that one of the awesome things about Christianity is that one can play Jesus. West added that God knows where his heart is. Although music and religion have been like oil and water, West added that his intention wasn't to get a negative reaction out of others. He said one of the messages he wanted to get across is that you can have a relationship with Jesus. While not yet on record store shelves, rapper Eminem's "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" is already stirring up controversy. Gay rights organization GLADD is condemning the rapper for lyrics to the album's third single, "Rap God". The organization calls the lyrics damaging to young minds, gay and straight. The group also condemned Eminem's song "Control" a few years ago. In 2001, the rapper tried to make amends by performing his hit single "Stan" at the Grammy Awards with pop legend Elton John. Eminem hasn't responded to this latest controversy. On the tube: "2013 World Series Live" on Fox, "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS, "Once Upon  A Time In Wonderland" on ABC and "The Voice" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
