Tuesday Tales
Rapper Kanye West turned AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, into his personal field of dreams. The hip hop star surprised his reality star girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, by asking for her hand in marriage. The couple has been dating for 18 months and became the parents of a daughter, North West, in June. No word on a wedding date. Congratulations to the happy couple. Singer and "The Voice" co-host Cee Lo Green plead not guilty to a charge of furnishing a controlled substance stemming from an incident in which he allegedly gave a woman ecstasy before having sex with her, according to TMZ. He is currently free on $30,000 on bond and is expected to turn himself in within 24 hours. A hearing is scheduled for next month and if convicted, Green could face up to four years in prison. The good news is that a sexual assault charge has been dropped due to insufficient evidence. Green maintains that the sexual encounter was consensual. His lawyer stated that answering the charge of furnishing a controlled substance will be answered responsibly in court. Singers R. Kelly and Lady Gaga have collaborated on a single called "Do What You Want" for Gaga's next album, "ARTPOP". The single was released on social networking site Twitter on Monday at midnight. Gaga, meanwhile, has promised to release new music leading up to "ARTPOP's" release on Nov. 11. Former Bad Boy Records artist Ma$e announced via Twitter that he will release a new project called "Now We Even". He added that he's been listening to his old freestyles as well as "Life After Death", "All Eyes On Me" and "Reasonable Doubt". Guest appearances will include 2 Chainz and newcomer Ariana Grande. Ma$e was one of Bad Boy's biggest artist until he decided to retire to pursue a "calling from God" he announced during a Hot 97 interview with Funkmaster Flex in 1999. No word on when the album will be released. On the tube: "Dads" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." on ABC and "The Biggest Loser" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
